2016 LDS Mutual Theme Ideas and Free Printables: Press Forward With a Steadfastness in Christ

I love the 2016 Mutual Theme!! When I think of, "Press Forward with a Steadfastness in Christ", the word that comes to mind is Endurance.  Life is not always easy, there are trials and opposition. But as we press forward staying right in line with the Savior, our lives will be blessed.

Here are some printables which could be used with the theme:

What else I include in my Binder:
  • Contact List for the Young Women Leaders including Position, Name, Phone #, B-day and E-mail.
  • Contact List for each Young Women group. Including Class presidencies, YW leader and Advisers, those currently in class and those who will be entering throughout the year.
  • Birthday List!!
  • BYC Agenda (This is a formatted page that our bishopric has given to us.  At our class presidency meeting we fill this out so our Class President will be prepared with it for BYC)
  • Class Activity Planner (We fill this completely out at the first of the year. Of course there are many modifications throughout the year, but it's great to go by.)  Free Download
  • Class Presidency Agenda (We use this for our Presidency Meetings along with the BYC Agenda)  Free PDF Download
  • Class Presidency Binder Packet (I keep this in my binder as well as give it to each one of our Class Presidency Members.  Included is a Welcome Page, and 4 Responsibilities Pages.)  Free PDF Download
  • Young Women Personal Progress Trackers for each girl in our class. I also love to do everything online!!  You do this by signing onto lds.org and then go to Personal Progress Leader Summary. It's great because you and approve requirements online. No lost papers or books, it stays with them as they move on :)
  • Mutual Activity Calendar (Our YW president came up with a format I love for this!! I probably use this the most, when looking at what activities we have. ) I've created something similar and it's available for a free download HERE PG1 & PG2

  1. Fabulous! I love the theme too. Sometimes it's hard to keep pressing forward, especially when a lot of problems hit at one time. It's great to have these reminders. Love the printables as always! Will share in my ward.

    1. Thank you! I agree, it is such a blessing though to know that we don't have to do it alone! That we have the Savior there to help us along the way. :)

  16. Any chance this can be formatted to a 4x6 size for a handout? I've printed the binder covers for leaders and am so excited to give them out on Sunday! I would love to have a 4x6 for the girls. They have frames that they put the theme in for the year to keep in their room. That may be a lot to ask...? If not, it would be greatly appreciated!

I love the graphics for this year's youth theme and love even more how you took the time to depict both the young man and young woman pressing forward in their climb. I was able to make bookmarks for each of our young women with this.

  21. I am in the Primary presidency, and we are using our planners for the third year - we LOVE them!! Our new councillor's husband is the YM president and he thinks they are great and would really like a similar one for his presidency. Do you know if there is a planner that would work for them? I've looked but can't find one.

    1. There really isn't anything out there for young men presidencies in regards to planners. I just searched, google, etsy and pinterst. If you could find out what kind of things he would like in there, I could probably put something together :)

  22. Any chance you could make a 16x20 size poster of the boy climber? I don't see one, only for the girl. I'm looking to print it and hang it in my teenage boys room because he wants something with the theme for the year and I think he'd love this one!

  23. Thank-you for putting all of these together and offering them to us for free. I was just put in as YW Secretary, and am starting from scratch because the last presidency had nothing. Every time I click on something I like from pinterest, it brings me here! I really appreciate it, I've got great binders put together for our presidency now, with all the information we need.
