2015 Sharing Time Outline Theme: "I Know My Savior Lives"
October 2015 Sharing Time Topic: The Mission of the Church Is to Invite All to Come unto Christ
October 2015 Scripture: “Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him” (Moroni 10:32).
October Week 3 Topic: We come unto Christ by repenting when we make a mistake.

Preparation:
Prayerfully study and think about what the specific needs of your primary are and how you can teach them this doctrine.
Sharing Time Instruction:
In the past, I have actually put together a few Sharing Times and Family Home Evenings centered around this topic. I love this topic!! I love it because repentance is something that I have to use on a daily basis! :) Here are some ideas that could be used for this sharing time:

Here is another idea I just thought of:
First, explain the that through the atonement we are able to repent. Explain what repentance is and the process of repentance. This link has a great way to teach this:
Place a picture of the Savior on the board, covered up by the following printable.
Invite a primary child to come up and choose one of the pieces. Read the piece and invite the child to share what they would do to repent of that mistake. Take the piece off. Continue with each piece until the picture of Christ is completely uncovered. Explain to the children that as we use the gift of repentance that the Savior has given to us, then we will grow closer to him. We grow closer to him because we have to rely on him to over come our faults and to truly repent.
